What to expect

The Bible is taught with reverence

We urge you to bring your Bible and enjoy God’s Word taught in understandable lessons. We believe that God wants us to understand His will for us, and that He has given us, through the Bible, “all things that pertain to life and godliness,” (2 Peter 1:3).

Worship is in “spirit and in truth.”

Jesus said, “God is a spirit, and they that worship Him, must worship in spirit and in truth,” (John 4:24). We are very serious in our worship to our heavenly Father. We are not so bold as to think God should accept just any kind of worship. Since He has told us, through His Word, how He wants to be worshiped, we respect His will and follow His divine pattern for acceptable worship, the New Testament. Therefore, if we cannot find a certain practice in the New Testament, we cannot accept it in our worship services. After all, our purpose is to please God, and not ourselves. For this reason, you will notice that our worship services are conducted “decently and in order” (1 Corinthians 14:40).
